This Side Up is a relatively new art and architecture community established by a group of college students from Universitas Katolik Parahyangan in Bandung, Indonesia, majoring in Architecture.
The name 'This Side Up' was first inspired by cardboard boxes, and their ability to wrap almost any type of product. Cardboard materials are also recyclable and can be reused even after serving its main purpose as packaging.
We apply this concept on urban development, a topic that we have chosen as the main margin for our community, because urban development is very much like cardboard boxes, recyclable and also can be used as a 'package' to accomodate activities and functions for its users.
